Finance and Operational Risk management:
Develop business intelligence solutions, such as compliance audits, internal controls, and financial projections, that assist organizations in their decision making, so they can track performance, target opportunities, reduce costs, and increase revenues. Develop sustainable interfaces between global business, my M.S. in Computer Science, and hands-on work experience.
My experience has also included the Implementation of a multi-billion dollar asset management system. My MBA program included Investment Management; this project was a followup in real-world experience.
Other experience included Y2K (Year 2000) corrections and verification for a global software company.
My immediate goals include, but are not limited to, SOX and related compliance audits, anti-money-laundering, anti-fraud-detection, and business intelligence and decision support systems. For example, in my MBA prpgram, I worked on currency risk management and international capital and trade flows. I see Anti-Money-Laundering as a specialized way of applying this knowledge. In general, Business Intelligence is a combination of my global MBA studies, including finance, my Computer Science program, including statistics, and my computer background. Recent focus is on reintegration of mainframe into sustainable business strategy and operations.
