Richard Shaw’s Summary

I am a producer, director, editor, and some consider me a pioneer in non-linear editing techniques going back to their development in the early 90's. I am a co-producer of Beat the Drum, a South African feature, (super 35mm anamorphic, Dolby SRD) winner of 30 awards. I'm also the director of "The Wordz Project" where street kids and famous artists rap the words of Christ. I was also asked to master 70 minutes of additional features for DiCaprio's "The 11th Hour" DVD, a project which we completed and is now available. Currently, I am working on one of the most exciting projects I've encountered, "The Torah Code and 2012." While Bible Code programs have been done years ago, this one will examine the interest in 2012 as seen through the Torah Code, along with the world experts in the Code. What we are discovering is currently mind-boggling, and is sure to generate interest world-wide.

My goal at Pinlight is to create provocative out-of-the box experiences in film and video productions, with a positive message.

  Z Post was an Avid editing facility that began in Atlanta Georgia. We moved the company to Hollywood in 2001. In 2005, the company was dissolved and Pinlight LLC is now operating where Z Post left off. Z Post was a pioneering company that specialized in digital non-linear editing, post production, animation and compositing. The company specialized in all kinds of projects, and did many instructional series as well as film and video projects. Pinlight now has merged into HD production and editing and continues the tradition began in 1994 with Z Post's quality productions that have been seen all over the world.
