A wholly owned subsidiary of NYSE listed Danaher, Invetech is a consulting, innovation, and design center. Maximising returns from new product investment is our core business - developing successful new products is what we do. With passion. And only when you need us. As a Consultant with Invetech, my role is Project Leadership and Systems Engineering.

A Sydney based developer of innovative biomimetic ocean power conversion systems currently pursuing full scale ocean testing to provide utility scale, grid connected renewable energy. I prepared the successful grant application for AUD $5m from the competitive Renewable Energy Development Initiative, documenting the company’s management experience, commercial potential, technical strength, national benefits, need for funding, and potential for greenhouse abatement.

A manufacturer of excimer lasers used in lithography scanners and a supplier of spare parts and service to end users. My career as an EPM at Cymer was very successful.
I launched three successive generations of the company’s flagship lightsource products. They generated more than $400m in revenue from system sales in three years.
I coordinated project teams up to 40 engineers and scientists and managed equipment budgets up to $15m in support of development of new laser products.
I implemented a staged release strategy to maximize technology development time and improve system integration opportunities without slowing customer product launch timetables.
I delivered a market dominating product in the shortest time to market in company history.
I unified standard department design reviews with Cymer’s Product Development Process. This achieved consistently better input from experts, leading to better design decisions, decreased defects, better planning and improved visibility.

ACX’s initial market was in sporting goods, but it quickly expanded into the automotive, hand held electronics, flat panel speaker, and semiconductor capital equipment sectors. To meet growing demands, I helped modernize the fabrication floor, designing automated test fixtures which increased manufacturing cell throughput and improved yield.
I also invented new actuator designs which synthesized high volume manufacturing techniques with ACX’s proprietary piezoceramic packaging method. This enabled ACX to sell products at lower price points and moved ACX from low volume markets into higher volume sectors like hand held electronics and automotives.
As ACX evolved from a component supplier to a system supplier, I was called on to coordinate cross functional teams. This entailed organizing larger teams of engineers, technicians and manufacturing staff, focusing on project goals, managing development costs, and interfacing with customers.
