Bringing together the ability for users to post visually appealing ads coupled with the ability for users to easily perform advanced searches to make their results more meaningful. Providing users with the ability to search by geographical region as well as the ability to search based on the miles radius of a given ZIP Code.
Offering users targeted advertising with "Featured" ads that display based on the search criteria a user provides and based on the advertisements a user is viewing. Supplying a classified ad management system that tracks and displays critical information like when each ad can be renewed, total times each ad has been viewed and the total times each ad has been clicked on from a "Featured" ad area (when applicable).
Inhibiting unproductive activities they could waste users' time with controls that will not let unregistered users post or respond to an advertisement and requiring security validation codes to help reduce automated spam. Prohibiting user accounts from posting duplicate advertisements in the same category as both an "Individual" and as a "Professional". Allowing users the ability to easily and permanently exclude all ads from a user so the value of posting low-value or repetitive ads is greatly diminished.
Providing the ability for users to quickly share advertisements with others by using social media outlets as well as e-mail.
