As Managing Director EMEA, Raymond has succesfully build up Lux Research's business in Europe and the Middle East. He manages the EMEA team out of Lux Research's EMEA HQ in Amsterdam. Raymond personally handles the Lux business in the German speaking countries, the Benelux and Russia.
Prior to joining Lux Research, Raymond was the regional sales manager for Forrester Research Benelux. He joined Forrester Research in January 2001 as project manager for consulting. In 2002, he moved on to Forrester’s Benelux sales organization. In 2005, Raymond assumed the regional sales management role.
Prior to joining Forrester Research, Raymond worked at Media Plaza, the Internet Demonstration Center, in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Raymond was part of the founding team in 1997 and was responsible for the program department as part of the Media Plaza management team. He was one of the ‘star’ presenters and educated many Dutch executives on the advent of the Internet (1997/98), the rise of eCommerce (1998/99), and the business implications of eBusiness (1999/01).
Raymond studied Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (C.K.I.) and Philosophy at the University of Utrecht. His primary focus was on human/computer interaction.
