Vice President, Marketing and Sales at Accolo
San Francisco Bay Area
The foundation for my approach to business was originally developed during my 8+ years at GE, and specifically during my selection and participation in the GE Executive Management Development program. My orientation was subsequently enhanced by having the opportunity to leverage my GE leadership and process training within the hyper growth culture at Netscape while leading the launch of their B2B eCommerce strategy and solutions. These two experiences provided me the opportunity to combine a unique and diverse set of skills and lessons learned at these two world class, marquee companies.
After the GE and Netscape (Actra) experiences, I had been transformed by the Silicon Valley, entrepreneur spirit and elected to remain in the world of software/SaaS start-ups including executive leadership positions to create new market segments and launch new products into the market in the areas of: B2B eCommerce, eProcurement, Marketing Automation, Supply Chain execution, Collaborative Commerce, Data Synchronization and Real Estate Performance Management. In addition, I also had the chance to apply my process/methodical orientation in launching new products and creating new markets at QRS which resulted in the first revenue growth in 12 quarters + the receipt of 5 offers to buy the $140M business at a significant premium to the market valuation upon my arrival.
My goal is to leverage this diverse and unique set of experiences and competencies to help high growth, innovative software/SaaS companies to materially increase their market share, share of wallet, average sales price, customer lifetime value and ultimate market valuation through the introduction, management and continuous improvement of repeatable and scalable, market facing , revenue generating processes and inspirational/motivation development and leadership of high performance teams.
