Realtor at Keller Williams Realty

My life is one that weaves its way all around and through real estate. I earned my Electrician's License while still in High School and with my Dad, ran CIR Electrical Contractor's for several years. I also designed and built (with my family) a summer home on a lake in Maine. Plus, I completely remodeled (gutted and rebuilt) my wife's and my first home, a two family in Springfield. I certainly have the practical trade experience to support my real estate business.
I’m also a graduate Engineer from WPI, specializing in high-tech, computer controlled systems. As a Product Develop Engineer/Manager, my job has been to recognize customer problems, provide solutions and to a large part be the lead in the customer service, sales and marketing. I'm a whiz with computers, have training and a depth of experience in problem solving and customer service, which is the heart of my real estate business. Being an Engineer, I'm very good with numbers. During one lull in my Engineering career I was a Senior Loan Officer for a mortgage broker giving me solid experience with mortgage financing.
I also believe strongly in continual education and regularly attend seminars and classes to keep myself on top of the ever-changing real estate business. All this education and experience gives me the expertise to best help and guide my clients through the diverse aspects of the real estate industry.
Throughout my career, my motivation has been to do something to make people's lives better in quality or productivity. As an Engineer, it was very rewarding to see someone using a product which had started as a glimmer in my brain. As a Realtor, there are so many rewards like guiding a buyer or seller through a successful transaction or helping some other agent improve they potential. And the best part is that we get paid to do this.... Life is Good!
Short Sales Certified Specialist - I have specialized in negotiating short sale transactions, both for my own listings and those of others.

I was the Engineering Manager of a new venture into hi-tech paper handling machinery. The initial project was to develop a high speed vision system for the IRS to visually inspect the tax notices as they were being printed. The project was completed with the equipment exceeding the customer's expectations. Although the sales force were generating client commitments to expand the line, the company did not feel comfortable venturing into areas beyond their paper roll handling equipment. The new venture was disbanded.
