  I worked as a Research assistant for Energy Efficient Ethernet Project in High Performance Computing Lab, UF. My research involved identification of possible ways of reducing power consumption of internet edge devices.
  
  Analyzed various application and network layer protocols and identified possible packets that can be proxied at the NIC and developed a rule base for the same. Performed simulations to measure the potential cost benefits using the rule base.

  I worked on the image capturing module, which was a multi threaded application written in VC++ and MFC capable of capturing synchronized images from multiple cameras. The application used National Instruments Data Acquisition card to interface an external device for triggering pulses to capture images. I also developed a module to interface a GPS Receiver device to record the location as and when images are captured.
