March 2008 — Present (1 year 10 months)
I am looking after the four non-production (test) environments for SMO, GLOSS, DODGE and PHOENIX. After the acquisition of half of Lehman Bros, the current setup has changed drastically. The Nomura HW and SW now needs to cope with more than double the load of trades per day. There are many more test streams utilising the four test environments. Other projects are online geared up to allow higher trade volumes to be processed on a daily basis.
I am managing the day to day usage of the four test environments, attaching the SYBASE servers and compute servers to the SAN, SOL10 upgrade, environment refreshes.
