Music Publicist at Def Press, and music critic and journalist covering Hollywood concerts at Examiner.

I write about music, and have been published since 1983. I have had articles published in an extensive number of media outlets, some of which include one of the incarnations of the now-defunct, but highly venerated Creem Magazine, Billboard Magazine, Hit Parader Magazine, Stones Planet, The Village Voice, Larry Flynt Publications, Counterpunch and many other publications.
In addition to music journalism, I have also been working as a music publicist since the 1980's.
I have received several gold and platinum albums for my work as a publicist.
I have also produced three compilation albums for EMI/Capitol/Right Stuff.
I have written liner notes for several major label CDs, two of which are multi-platinum selling albums from EMI.
I have also written countless bios for recording artists and press releases for a wide myriad of record companies, both major labels and independent.
I have written countless album reviews, DVD reviews and concert reviews.
I have interviewed many recording artists, including the Rolling Stones at their NY premiere of the Martin Scorsese film "Shine A Light." I have also interviewed many recording artists, too many to list here. The diverse range of artists I have interviewed includes reggae rhythm twins Sly and Robbie, Les Paul, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Little Richard, Metallica, Frank Zappa, and the late Eazy-E. I am trying to be as diverse as possible here, yet I am avoiding typing a long list of all the artists I have interviewed.
I also shoot photos.
I have been quoted in numerous publications including Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Miami Herald, New Times, The L.A. Weekly, The New York Daily News, Hollywood Reporter, Daily Variety, The Los Angeles Times, Rocky Mountain News, Arizona Republic, and The Chicago Tribune. I have also been quoted on MTV News and quoted in VH1 News.
I have appeared on national television, discussing music on broadcast media outlets that include MSNBC, MTV News and Los Angeles television stations.
