• Vice President, Sales, Nurture by Steelcase – responsible for sales, with a major focus on serving the needs of the Architectural and Design Community. Responsible for the Nurture relationship with leading healthcare Networks such as the Center for Healthdesign and Planetree. Phyllis has been involved in leading the Nurture sales effort with major healthcare organizations including Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Massachusetts General Hospital, Children’s Healthcare Corporation of America (CHCA), Intermountain Healthcare.
• Phyllis often serves as a keynote speaker at major events to share Nurture’s research and experience in the healthcare marketplace.
• As a member of Nurture’s Healthcare Research team Phyllis has firsthand knowledge of how care is delivered today and how it might be changing in the future.
• Phyllis represents Nurture as a Corporate Pebble Partner at the Center for Healthdesign and also serves on the EDAC (Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification) advisory council.
• Phyllis is also Nurture’s delegate at the Rice Building Council which continues to look at the healthcare delivery system.
• Phyllis is a member of Texas A&M’s HIAC group, a Health Industry Advisory Council and, as such, has, on behest of Nurture, sponsored three doctoral dissertation grants for healthcare research.
• Phyllis has been most recently honored to be selected to serve on the Planetree Design Advisory Council
Phyllis helps to identify our customer’s healthcare needs and provides effective workplace solutions. Additionally, as a member of the Steelcase research team, Phyllis' focus on user center design and evidence based research to identify healthcare-related issues and facility implications has brought greater awareness to creating better, more effective healthcare environments.
