I enjoy analyzing global software markets, product positioning, product capabilities and gaps—and delivering recommendations and action plans for improvement. My techniques are varied and may involve digging into research projects looking for marketable code, resuscitating dead and/or flailing products; redirecting existing products to spaces that are more lucrative or just figuring out what that key differentiators are that will make the existing product sail by its competition.

I'm currently very interested in the "Green Technology" space and am looking for a way to apply my skill set there. Up here in New Hampshire we've recently converted our house from oil to geothermal and the results are impressive and satisfying.

Outside of business I practice internal martial arts, specifically focusing on T'ai Chi these days, though Bagua and Xing Yi find their way into my practice occasionally. I enjoy sharing my skills and do so regularly in various venues.
