Perry Almeleh's Projects

  • Accounting Software Conversion

    • June 1991 to April 2007
Team Members: Perry Almeleh, junior accountant, executive assistant, cfo

The conversion from all existing accounting software to a more up to date version was my entire responsibility going back to the DOS days to the present day Peachtree and Quickbooks conversions. All the conversions entailed the setting up of multiple sets of books running parallel with older systems for a short time.
Once all of the data was tranferred with opening balances, history in the newly converted versions
were relied upon after about six months.Older versions served as backups during such times.

  • Daily and Monthly Cash Management

Team Members: Perry Almeleh, executive assistants, junior accountant, cfo, brokerages, banks

The responsibility of the management of cash and the reporting of cash was made up a few component parts.
Initially, the daily and monthly budget dictated the cash needs for each interval of time.
Once that was established both the sources and uses had to be specifically identified in order to facilitate the movement of liquid assets to fund obligations and new investments.
Payables were then paid, investments were
    made,and excess funds were reinvested.
