Pecanne Eby, MBA’s Summary

As the founder of Brand Mentoring, I serve my clients as a marketing strategist. Typically I work with two types of clients.

The first client type I call the visionaries, they are open to working with outside consultants and desire innovation in their marketing. They typically have:
o Existing products/services with a decent level of brand awareness and they are now looking for new ideas to improve brand loyalty;
o New products/services to introduce to existing or new markets so they need innovative ideas about positioning and marketing outreach.

The second type of client is a little less fortunate, they recognize they are not yet on the right path. Typically they are:
o Frustrated by the fact that their products/services are not well known or understood by their key target audiences;
o Upset because they spend many of their days in reaction mode since they’ve not had the time to develop and work an annual marketing plan;
o Concerned because they are operating off limited information about their target audiences, making it difficult to develop effective messaging.
o Overwhelmed because in this economy their marketing staff is not growing (in many cases it has been downsized), so the marketing function is becoming a bottleneck in their organizations.

These are the most common marketing issues I help clients resolve.

My background includes working inside various advertising agencies, teaching, consulting, blogging and public speaking about marketing and brand building.
