Section Head Field Medical & Technical Affairs at P&G Pharmaceuticals
Cincinnati Area
Over the past 15 years I have worked in many functions at P&GP. I was hired to develop the field technical support for managed care, through that I was directly involved in all commercial or close to commercial projects. I have lead all managed care technical initiatives. I lead the development of the first PE model developed by P&GP, the first drug utilization review study, the first database observational study and responsible for all managed care strategy assessments and field technical implementation. I have been a key contact for all alliances (Sanofi-Aventis, Novartis, Wyeth, Theratech, and Alexion) for all managed care and medical affairs work. I have managed Medical Science Liaisons and ultimately was responsible for the redesign and staffing of the new Field Professional & Technical Affairs team after we went through a reorganization. I continue in that role to lead all strategy, training, implementation, reporting and scientific dissemination. I continue to be a key contact for most National Managed Care plans. My goals are to continue to further develop the Field MSL and managed care roles as the industry continues to evolve and meet the newer regulatory requirements. Ultimately I would like to manage a full range of medical affairs business, from field work through internal project management.
