Expert on greenhouse gas quantification, validation and verification for technologies, projects and company inventories. Patrick has been extensively involved with the development of GHG standards and protocols, including the development of the Greenhouse Gas Service (GGS) Program (joint venture between GE Financial and AES Corporation), the ISO 14064-2:2006 and ISO 14064-3:2006 as co-chair of the Canadian Advisory Committee for Climate Change, and road-testing the WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol for Projects.
Patrick developed and delivered GHG project courses, GHG inventory courses and validation verification courses for the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute, the Canadian Government and previous employers. Patrick has recently been involved in GHG quantification work related to strategic assessment, protocol development, validation and verification for clean technology developers. He has also performed assessments of Green I & IT strategy for provincial governments to determine the best strategy forward to reduce GHG emissions.
