I have been in the Staffing Industry for 20 + years in various roles. My career began as a Recruiter where I was ranked 5th out of 400 + recruiters. After many successes I was moved into management.
I relocated and joined Volt Services Group, a Fortune 1000 company focusing on temporary and contract staffing, as a Sales Representative where I was awarded "Rookie of the Year." After personally landing an account worth $6M, I was very quickly promoted to Manager and then Area Manager where I was responsible for entire sales and recruitment effort for four branches and two onsite programs.
I was promoted to the role of Professional Placement Program Manager in order to create a Professional Placement program for a predominantly temporary staffing organization. This included all sales, marketing and training material used companywide. I supported offices through out the United States in their Professional Placement endeavors. The areas of expertise in which Volt successfully recruits are Life Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical, Accounting/Finance and Administrative. My last title was Vice President Volt Professional Search in which I had full P&L responsibility for a new division of the company focusing on Professional Search. I am also a Six Sigma Black Belt.

This consisted of extensive phone sales, direct recruiting, salary negotiations and rigorous customer services. As a result of my success as an Account Executive I was promoted to manager.
