- June 2012
Travelled as a Student Ambassador with other Ambassadors to London, Wales, Ireland, North Ireland and Scotland. Before hand there was a strict selection process and we learned so much about the history and culture of each region we were to visit. As Ambassadors, we were to meet with heads of Government and volunteer to help the elderly, which we did by gathering peat. Now that was an experience! There was so much we saw and too many experiences to write about. It was a twenty day whirlwind that I'll never forget.
I earned college credit for my hard work before and during the trip as well as a certificate.
