Paralegal Studies Program (ABA-Approved)’s Summary

The program enjoys hearing from its graduates as their careers progress. We send surveys to our graduates often in order to measure their successes. If you are a recent graduate or an experienced alum and have not had a chance to share your employment information with us, please take a moment to visit our website (www.roosevelt.edu/paralegal) and print the appropriate survey form, fill it out and return it to us via mail or fax, whichever is more convenient.

Any information you provide to the program in these surveys will remain strictly confidential, only to be used for reporting purposes with the American Bar Association in compliance with our ABA-approval.

Graduates are encouraged to meet individually with the Assistant Director (Chanita Dean) and receive advising in career-related matters including, but not limited to: resume/cover letter writing; interviewing techniques; and job searching.

The program holds an annual Career Day during the Fall at the 18 South Michigan Avenue campus, open to current students and graduates. In addition to inviting paralegal employers to campus in order to recruit our students and alumni, a variety of workshops are held covering a wide array of topics related to career development. Speakers at these workshops are legal professionals from throughout the Chicagoland legal community.
