Teach For India is a national movement that aims to narrow the educational gap in India by placing the country’s most outstanding college graduates and young professionals, of all academic majors and careers, in low-income schools to teach for two years. In June 2009, Teach For India has placed 87 Fellows in 33 English-medium, primary schools in Mumbai and Pune. By its fifth year, Teach For India aims to place hundreds of Fellows in the country’s top metropolitan cities and their surrounding rural areas.

• Currently leading a four‐tier team of 110 students – redefined responsibilities and involved 2nd and 3rd year students during this global recession to help 1000 students for placements and 500 students for internships.
• Initiated the association of the Board of Directors, Alumni Association with the Placement Office and convinced Alumni of different chapters to help in recruitment
• Initiated and implemented VMOCK, Presentation and Preparation Portal which include the alumni‐student interaction forum which will bring together 1200 alumni and 3000 students
• Droven ideas like the Core Team of Alumni.
• Responsible for proper allocation and management of budget of INR 8 Lacs.
• Pioneered in planning to organise a series of group discussion and personal interview workshops by involving Faculty, Alumni, recruiters and third party agencies.
• Currently working on a comprehensive feedback system from alumni, students and companies targeting marketability of IIT Kanpur.
• Initiated the discussion with IAC (Institute Advisory Committee) to provide the ISD facilities and Team room which can be used by Team Members for meeting and Pre Placements preparation

-Drawing the EPC (Event Driven Process Chain) using ARIS business architect.
-Provided specific inputs related to the Blue Print document of MM, HR and FICO to development team.
-Studied and validated the current Organizational Structure and syncing it to ARIS.
