I have always enjoyed using technology, all the way back to getting my first radio, first game system (Atari 2600), first computer (Timex-Sinclair). I happened to stumble into Higher Education as a profession instead of working as a coder with my BS in Computer Science. I have found a great use of my love of technology, by supporting it's use for education, teaching, and learning.
Personal computers (hardware and software). Learning/Course Managment Systems (LMS or CMS). Video conferencing equipment, room design. Multimedia equipment for usage in classrooms.

Just a slight change in title. During the summer of 2007, I gained an employee I am in charge of, who provides Instructional Technology support for the Springfield, Salem, and Mtn View campus locations.

Came to SBU from UMR (after a some time spent at Teters Floral Products in Bolivar), when we had a 56k connection for the Internet, using 286/386/486 computers running DOS 6/WfW311. Oversaw the change to using Windows 95 and Windows 98, from Wordperfect 5.1 for DOS to Microsoft Office suites. Netscape to Internet Explorer. Etc.
