I started off in the restaurant industry at the age of 17 as a dishwasher. From there I moved my way up to learn how to line cook. After three years of working in restaurants I went to Johnson & Wales University to get a degree in culinary arts. After getting my degree I got my first salaried position as a line cook in a five star diamond restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island. I worked my way up to the Executive Chef of it's catering operation in 1999 where I worked for a year and a half.
After leaving I started my own catering business which I ran simultaneously with a recording studio that I opened in 2000. After closing the recording studio in 2002 I did independent on-site computer consulting, repair and networking along with the catering business.
I joined Whole Foods Market in 2004 and have worked there every since. Currently I am the Associate Store Team Leader of the Union Square store in New York City.
