I worked my way thru USF law school as "support staff" at literally dozens of firms as a "temp" -- from about 18 of the top 20 AmLaw firms, to solos; criminal defense, PI, IP, etc. You name it, I did it. Never thought in a million years it would be so helpful to my ultimate career. Spent about two years with Abramson & Smith, where my wonderful mentor Al Abramson really taught me how to be a lawyer, in real life.
