In 2002 Mindy started compiling the San Diego Networking Guide, as a tool for her coaching clients who wanted to attend networking events. In 2004, Mindy was invited to become the first authorized Link System® Trainer, by Mel Kaufmann, author of The Millionaire's Handbook and Founder of The Link System®. The Link System® teaches non-selling networking skills.

In July of 2008 she started working on creating regional Networking Guides across the country, launching NetworkingEventFinders.com in October, 2008.

With that expansion, she also purchased the rights to The Millionaire's Handbook and The Link System® from author & founder Mel Kaufmann
