The series was also featured on the cover of Cable in The Classroom Magazine 2 or 3 times and enjoyed an average viewing audience of over 1 million people while in rotation. The biographical episode on Ted "Mr. Tornado" Fujita was particularly popular and not only won several awards but was praised by the scientific community and has aired in Japan on several networks.
