Interning Individual & Group Therapist at Community Counseling Agency amd Mental Health Technician at Psychiatric Center
Greater Pittsburgh Area
In May 2007, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, having an overall GPA of 3.87. In addition to this degree, I graduated having membership in the Honors Program of Clarion Universtiy. At present, I am a full-time, Community Counseling graduate student at Slippery Rock University. I am currently an interning therapist at Irene Stacy Community Mental Health, providing individual, couples, and group counseling to those living in Butler County. Additionally, I am employed by Clarion Psychiatric Center and work weekly providing inpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adult psychiatric patients. Upon graduation from Slippery Rock University in May 2010, I plan to enter a doctoral program in either Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology. My goal is to teacher undergraduate psychology courses at a community college or university while working as a therapist in a counseling agency. In the future, after gaining much filed experience and further education, I hopeto be a clinical director/executive officer at a state mental hospital or psychiatric center.
