I currently manage the architecture and deployment of workstation hardware and software, as well as collaboration tools/systems. I manage the outsourced teams responsible for software deployment and computer images, and help manage the outsourced helpdesk. I am responsible for the creation of work flow processes for the end user computing infrastructure.
I have 27 years experience in the computer field, from mainframes to workstations. Former USAF climatology programmer, have been with Freescale Semiconductor since '97, as a programmer, project manager, manager, and strategist.
I was a contributing and invited speaker at the SAS User Group International conventions during my years as a SAS programmer.

15 years USAF, stationed Gunter AFS and Scott AFB. Started out in computer operations, became statistical programmer in '88 writing FORTRAN and SAS climatology applications. Programs did such things as determine airconditioning requirements for buildings, global runway temperatures for rapid repair, statistical evaluation of every weather forecast made by the USAF, and others.
