Michael Sheyahshe (Caddo) is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for alterNative Media, a studio specializing in illustration, sculpture, 2D art & media, and 3D modeling/animation in the OKC Metro area.
Michael received two degrees, both cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma (2003): one in Native American Studies (BA) and another in Film and Video Studies (BA). He is a Gates Millennium Scholar, a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, and is a member of both the Alpha Lambda Delta and Gamma Beta Phi honor fraternities.
Michael has presented academic papers at various universities and museums around the country and been published in Illusions, Trauma Magazine, Native Peoples Magazine, and Games for Windows. Michael held an internship with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History’s in Washington, DC, was previously appointed as Tax Commissioner for the Caddo Nation, and currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Caddo Nation’s Heritage Museum.
Recent artistic achievements include: Director of Animation for a feature film and art various shows in CA and OK. Currently, Michael is undertaking a Master's program (MFA) in 3D Modeling at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA.

Designs and Creates specialized 3D models, content, animation, and virtual simulations (“video games”) primarily used in FAA courseware delivery. This includes, manipulating existing engineering data for high-end computer and video graphics, including tessellation, optimization, and texturing; creating technical and non-technical components, systems and environments from scratch or with limited reference; and producing complex animations depicting motion, flow; and developing interactive media and curriculum with specific focus on 3d models, animation, simulation, Flash animation, and XML and Actionscript programming.
