Architectural Photography
Michael has been photographing architecture for almost 20 years, primarily large corporate and industrial projects, interior and exterior. While most of his work has been in the California, he has photographed numerous projects in France, UK, Germany, Switzerland and Ireland, and has also worked in Mexico, Malaysia and Israel.
From a tiny Airstream Trailer to the Petronas Towers, Michael has photographed almost every type of structure- law offices, federal prisons, residential and corporate interiors, airports, restaurants, architectural models, class 1 clean rooms, universities, internet startups and stadiums. He has documented every phase of the work of the architect, and his images have been published in twenty books and dozens of magazine articles, including the cover of Architectural Record.
Portrait photography
As well as architectural shooting, Michael does portrait photography, primarily of people in their work environment.
Time Lapse Film
Using a solar powered multi-camera system he designed and built, Michael has produced two high definition time lapse films of building projects, one for the San Francisco law firm Orrick and one for Genentech.
