Michael Hoenie’s Summary

I'm a long time Software and QA Engineer. I've worked in a wide variety of jobs from writing software for the Title Industry, Motorcycle Industry, College Book Stores and Emergency Medical Industry.

I started coding at the age of 14 on a TI-994a. There I learned TI-Basic and Ti-Extended Basic. Quickly I moved onto the Atari 800 and learned Atari and Apple Basic, as well as 6502 assembly. In high school I moved onto the IBM PC and learned Basica as well as GWBasic. In 1984 I picked up a copy of Borland's Turbo Pascal 3.1a and spent 11 years writing adventure games (see MORABIS) as well as BBS software (I ran BBS's from 1982 through 1995). In 1995, I picked up Borland's Delphi 2 and have spent the last 14 years coding in it. In 2008 I picked up Microsoft's Visual Studio 2008 and began learning C#.

My goal is to further my career in Software Quality Assurance and Software Development using C# and ASP.NET as well as Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and soon 2008.
