Hello, my name is Michael Demby. You might remember me from such companies like Tekmark Global Solutions, Hechkoff Executive Search, and Katz Radio Group. Yet most of you know me from the highly regarded boutique executive search firm, AC Lion (http://www.aclion.com), where I developed a deep interest/passion for the interactive/new media industry. AC Lion helped me realize my true strengths: networking, finding/developing leads, opening doors, and making the connection.
After setting a speed record at AC Lion by doubling the size of a fast rising ad network within 3 months, I decided to make a change. Low and behold, Didit Search Marketing (http://www.didit.com) was looking for someone recreate the way sales were made at the agency in a never been done before, completely open opportunity as Guerrilla Networker/Fearless Marketing Enthusiast.
Renamed Business Development Strategist, my role was not much different from that of late (find, open, and connect). The opportunity pit me against some of Fortune 500’s top executives where I target the Chief decision makers and connect them with my CEO with the close of business in mind.
Since then I played a part building a startup at 8coupons.com and and acquired a position in sales at Citysearch owned by IAC. I put businesses in touch with their target audience and I love my job!
