I was born in Manila, Philippines, and was raised on a farm forty miles south of Manila. My ancestors were Chinese, Filipino and Spanish. I went to the University of the Philippines and obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering, and then I went to Hawaii to go to graduate school. I obtained a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and did my postdoctorate at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California. I taught Biochemistry and General Chemistry classes for several years and then left teaching altogether. I now deal primarily with real estate investments, coaching and writing.
As a realtor, I have the unique perspective of looking at properties from both the seller and buyer standpoint as well as the experience of managing investment properties for investors.
As an Investment Specialist, I am able to analyze properties and guide investors in all aspects of the purchase and give an overview of potential returns for each property by using simple mathematical models.
My outside interests are writing, coaching and networking
I specialize in analyzing investment properties for real estate investors. I base my recommendations on simple mathematical formulas that calculate return on investments, cash on cash return, capitalization rate. I am interested in educating high income professionals on the merits of including real estate in their income and investment portfolio.
