Account Manager at Sukle Advertising & Design
Greater Denver Area
I'm a producer. Meaning that I know how to get things done. Before I joined the team at Sukle, I was a field producer for an HGTV (Home & Garden Television) show called Haulin' House, a docudrama about structural house moving (people who literally pick up houses and move them to a new location.) Not only would I shoot each 30-minute show with a team of freelance camera folks + a second field producer, & some production assistant's, I would find each story after talking to all key players including homeowners and house mover, arrange the logistics including creating maps with important vantage points (we'd shoot the story from three moving vehicles and had to write the story arc in the field or it would be a flat story devoid of drama), hire my team for each story and away we'd go.
Ultimately, I was responsible for "getting the story" out of each camera. If I came back to the office and there was an element of the story not on tape, it would have been my fault and that's a misshap that you can't go back in time to correct.
The ideal position for me? I'm coordinating and writing, researching, mentoring, selling, and am actively invested in the company as a whole. I have a very entrepreuenerial nature. I thrive in a fast-paced environment - if there's downtime, I'm doing everything I can to create another windfall of activity. I operate best when I have a million things that need to be done now. If my day isn't flying, I'm not in the right position or at the right company.
