Dr. Mary Donohue, a management analyst, has worked in New York, San Francisco and Toronto. She boasts a history of achievement in public relations, event planning, operations, and management, as shown by rapid sales growth and advancement with such companies as Molson, Coors, Red Bull, The Government of Ontario, Honda, and Nike.
Dr. Donohue earned a Doctorate of Education and Leadership from Central Michigan University. Dr. Mary has been nominated to the Globe and Mail’s Top 40 under 40, has been awarded Canada’s Centennial Achievement Medal and has been referred to fondly by her colleagues as a gregarious “firecracker” who gets the job done.
Dr. Mary has a unique ability to create a sense of excitement and fun about her initiatives, motivating her clients and their customers to get fully engaged. Describe most recently at a press conference by Paul Godfrey, past President of the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club as a fireball and by others as an “idea tornado,” it is easy to see why she excels at improving the profile and enhancing the leadership of the people and programs she advocates for.
While learning about great leaders and ethics Dr. Mary had the opportunity to complete her internship for her doctorate with Paul Newman’s “Hole in the Wall Camps”.
Dr. Mary’s newest book, with Deepak Chopra, Jack Canfield and Dr. Denis Waitley, will be launched in Spring 2009 alongside her new business that analyzes and optimizes corporate leadership by understanding the moral purpose of the company and its’ return on investment for the firm through marketing, and public and government relations.
Mary recently finished a study on the effects of philanthropy on leaders at Central Michigan University. Included in her research on leadership is a study on the effects of communication coaching at NYU Stern Business School.
Mary has also been a regular guest contributor to Global TV’s Moneywise, City TV and CP24 on Canadian business issues.
