MARVIN R. ADAMS is an Ombudsman for Equal Opportunity and a member of the United States Ombudsman Association. He has over two decades of diverse experience in human resource management. In addition, he has taught management courses at Regis University and other institutions for the past thirty years in Employment Law, Mediation, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Negotiations, Minority & Ethnic Relations, Diversity, and Interviewing Theory & Practice.

Mr. Adams was a Civil Rights Investigator for the State of Colorado; an Equal Employment Opportunity Manager for the Federal Government; and the Human Resources Manager for El Paso County. He is certified as a mediator by the Atlanta Justice Center, Inc. He is a certified Covey Trainer, International Public Management Association Human Resource (IPMA-HR) Trainer, and National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Diversity Awareness Facilitator. Mr. Adams has served as an arbitrator and mediator for the Better Business Bureau and as a member of the National Panel of Consumer Arbitrators and the State of Colorado Panel of Consumer Arbitrators.

Mr. Adams is a past president of the Colorado Springs Human Resource Association and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Center, the Colorado Springs Symphony Board and a life member of the NAACP. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for Goodwill, Pikes Peak Partnership, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, Center for Community Development & Design, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Committee. He was recently a middle school mentor with the LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc.

Marvin is a retired US Army Officer, Combat Aviator, Vietnam Veteran, and Life Member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.
