Was given an opportunity to expand my experiences to wide variety of skills, techniques etc including interesting systems like Apache's Solr and CouchDB and many more pretty tools and standards, preferably open source.

These experiences serve well in consulting costumers, designing systems without prior specific knowledge and, if sufficient time invested, in choosing the tools to finish the task.

A job in which previously derived skills would be put to the test. Built several weird systems including some SMS server, lead team members in building a large travel website and was granted the opportunity to build a large website for my favorite Disney character ;)

A fast paced job in which a multitude of tasks and skills were required. Had to build some small community website, weird and complex SQL statements and implementing REST clients for services like FOAFer.

Besides actually building and fixing software there was a need for tutoring some hard presed security considerations to members of the development team.

Learnt Javascript and the DOM which were heavily needed in building a online calculation module for some large Dutch company.

Besides reading and modifying the DOM the job incorporated programming large and complex computations.

Learnt C/C++ and built a prime number generator for fun and a tool which could find and attempt to repair erroneous database tables.

An attempt to repair a table was a twofold proces. First by getting the structure back in order so the reader could handle it again, and secondly, to attempt to use data from backups.

Learnt all the basics for LAMP programming and built some company extranet which agents used for storing their documents.

Built from scratch and was secured by Apache's htaccess, htgroup and htpasswd which were generated in the backend by some superuser.
