Creating personal spaces, work environments, tracking and reporting on trends in design and color, writing, speaking and sperading the word on the importance of design in your life. Design and color make up everything we see, whether offered in nature or by the finest manufacturing and it has the power to transform lives.
I bring the ideal combinations of applied design and color to lifespaces and offer interactive, engaging presentations to students, client groups and trade professionals. Myriad mediums for a common goal of sharing information and creating buzz about design and color and the possibilities that exist in use.

The Color Marketing Group, one of the world's premier organizations for the prediction and direction of color has been an affirming group for the research and educated "gut feelings" I've had about design and color and the scope with which it all touches our lives.
My status as a chairholder allowed me to be elected to the Board of Directors where I am able to work to make the organization better for my fellow members. These new duties have grown from previous engagements as Program Planning chairperson and ongoing facilitator for session workshops.

A specialized marketing position continuing after the purchase of Duron. I played an expanded, integral part of the team exercising my abilities in writing, presentation, graphic design, event planning and design as well as scheduling, managing employees and coordinating myriad departments.

Leader, and part of, a creative team from various company members. Our business call was to raise customer awareness of high quality architectural coatings, color and design. Our team produced, budgeted and negotiated on behalf of 32 companies for Point of Purchase materials, architectural tools and sampling, proposed advertising and marketing campaigns.

The ability to morph, grow and change helped me grow my position from an in-store design consultant to corporate manager of all color marketing and design. The excitement of the marketing department projects made each day exceptional and whether planning the graphics and way finding for a national sales conference, appearing on television or writing articles for national publication, my education and life's passions came to fruition.
Beyond the exciting elements of design were the accomplishments of business. I was able to garner additional product sales while working with company reps, up-sell products to consumers for higher profit margins and lower costs of in-house materials through redesign and product engineering.
Important accomplishments are the creation of historical color palettes for George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate, The Historic Charleston Foundation, The Carolina Lowcountry and city of Nashville, Tennessee. Researching with the groups' historians I was able to add the concept of previous lifestyles and color usage and successfully bring them to contemporary audiences.
Audiences have also been an important element of my ongoing career and my invitations to speak have brought me to 50+ cities around the world from Melbourne, Australia to Dublin, Ireland. I'm thrilled that design and color have the power to bring one half way round the world.
