SupplyChainge was the pioneering software company for supply chain optimization for fashion products, coining and popularizing the term "Lead Time Optimization" or LTO (now known as Flexible Supply Planning). The highly analytical LTO software took forecast accuracy improvement data and markup/markdown data into account while planning staging and hedging strategies for the supply chain. Early implementations were at the Gap (Gap Body) and New Balance. The company's assets were transferred to Predictix in 2007.

Employing 250 people, the factory started by making NFL, MLB and other league outerwear for Starter Corporation, heavy on computerized embroidery. The company had a buyback agreement with Starter Corp., and was thrown into a death spiral when Starter suddenly announced bankruptcy and shut down its operations.
