    In the present work the computational study of the hot steel plate cooling due to a round water jet impinging normally onto the plate was conducted. Here, a conjugate heat transfer problem has been solved implying consideration of both regions one occupied by fluid (multi-phase flow consisting of water, vapor and ambient air) and one accommodating the solid (steel plate) within the same solution domain.
