Lucian has been online since the early 90s, moving from the catacombs of multi-user dungeons and text-only interfaces to the magnificence that is the World of Warcraft. He has created websites, online stores and intranets for corporate customers and non-profits during his days as a freelancer, and subsequently as the sole proprietor of Higharc Designs.
He is currently in the employ of the Ministry of Education in Singapore and spearheads efforts to revamp the organisation's intranet and internet assets.
Having started the website Websg.org, he spends his time promoting the use of web standards in Singapore, as well as organising meetups to encourage the exchange of technical and business knowledge with regards to new media.
He is also a member of the Web Standards Project's International Liaison Group, the Gahmen Bloggers and the Media Socialists.
