I recently revised and updated The First Year – Hepatitis C: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed (Marlowe 2007) with my co-author, Cara Bruce. The first edition was published in 2002. I write a column on economics and personal finance for YoungMoney.com, and I've written features, news stories and reviews for a wide variety of publications, including Agence France-Presse, San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Art and Antiques Magazine, Publishers Weekly, and California Literary Review. Several years ago, I co-authored two books of historical anecdotes -- Strange But True: San Francisco and Strange But True: Chicago (both Globe Pequot 2005). My fiction has appeared in Best American Erotica 2004 and Best American Erotica 2005.
