Lindy B. Batdorf’s Experience

  • Speaker ~ Communication/Performance Coach

    Batdorf Communications

    (Public Relations and Communications industry)

    May 2002Present (7 years 3 months)

The Art & Heart of Communication is based on the importance of common sense, respect and understanding.

Whether at work, at home, in the marketplace, the neighborhood, at church, other organizations or even in line at the post office -- every person is significant to the function of the whole.

In short, people matter. They matter, because whether we like it or not, we are thrown into interactions every day.

Communication is the glue and/or electric fence that holds or hinders these relationships and interactions.

As a speaker, writer and teacher, I offer tools to enhance, build or rebuild communication for individuals, families, groups and organizations based on that big three: respect, understanding and common sense.

  • Director of Development and Outreach

Lindy B. Batdorf’s Education

  • Warner Pacific College

    B.S. , Human Development/Journalism , 19931996

I went back to college after a 20 year break, but at the same time I was raising two wonderful, but very young sons. There wasn't much time for outside activities...

Scott Thompson, writer/editor of the Warner Pacific magazine, wrote a lovely article after my book, "Stop and Smell the Asphalt" was published. He does a stellar job with that publication.

Warner Pacific College is a marvelous school with fantastic professors--my experience there was absolutely life-changing.

    Activities and Societies:
Received UPS adult learner scholarship ~ National Dean's List ~ Speaker for graduation ~ Emcee for Warner Pacific Harvest Banquet held at the Oregon Convention Center as well as Seattle
  • Clackamas Community College

    AA , Liberal Arts , 19731976
