Over the past few years I've had the pleasure of working with several different groups when it comes to video games, both in the classroom and out. As a student in both my undergraduate and graduate degrees I have been involved in the Chico State Game Studios classes, either as a resource for students on texturing for video games or as a production artist providing models, textures, concept art and anything else that needed to be done.
As of this time I have also worked as a freelance artist to several start-up companies, one of which I am still working with today. Most of the work I have done for these companies is wide ranging, from manipulating photographs, storyboarding, creating concept art and final pieces.
Currently I am working on finishing my Master's project while looking for a job in the video game industry.
If you are interested in some of what I have done, and the hard work of fellow Chico State students check out these links. Thanks :)

My greatest strength is texturing. In fact, that's what my Master's project is based on! I enjoy making environmental textures; rocks, woods, metals, walls, etc. Trying to tell a story or set the mood from just what's around the player. (I take inspiration from the Silent Hill series for this) All my texturing is done in Photoshop.
I'm a decent modeler, mostly environmental objects. I work mostly in Lightwave 3D; though I tend to lay out UV's in 3DS Max, it has better UV mapping options.

Currently I am working with a start-up game company, creating art assets for them. I don't want to say anything though, since I am under a NDA.

At Lifetouch I worked in the digital manipulation department, doing photo retouching in Adobe Photoshop. I also worked for a while in the Panorama department, removing hand gestures, fixing backgrounds, color correcting scanned film, and printing.

Instead of listing all my interests (because there are a lot of them!) I'll just list the major ones :) Video games, both making and playing them! I especially love environmental texturing and modeling. Arts/Crafts (Ceramics and Drawing being my favorites) Music (used to play, not so much anymore) Doctor Who (DOCTOR!!!)
I've worked at the Game Developers Conference for the past three years as a Conference Associate. Great experience! Great people!
