In my first career, I worked with architectural and engineering teams as a corporate Interior Designer, including working with the Federal government as well as boutique architectural firms over 20 years. Before becoming associated with LTC Financial Partners as an Independent Agent, I spent fifteen years as a personal and business coach, ultimately coaching senior level executives in Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies in breakthrough thinking methodolgies.

I launched a freelance writing and web services business in January 2007 and often write about long-term care. My diverse writing background includes producing a B2B magazine for a 5-star hotel in Jakarta Indonesia and working as a public relations account executive in Honolulu. My clients have included some of Hawaii’s top hotels such as the Hotel Hana Maui and the Mauna Lani Resort as well as the Honolulu Hard Rock Café. I have lived abroad in SE Asia and have traveled extensively both within the US and internationally.

In caring for both my father and my father-in-law over several years, I directly experienced the damaging impact that providing long term care to family members without the benefit of long term care insurance can have on the preservation of financial assets, income and the emotional well-being of survivors. The sudden death of my husband at age 55 further reinforced the importance of being prepared for unexpected health crises and their consequences.
