My passion for helping business owners grow and prosper has led to a unique and rewarding career path. I have been privileged to make connections with small businesses, boards and volunteer organizations, each engagement selected because it offered the opportunity to make a difference.

Vice Chair of RAIN Source Capital, a venture capital fund with network connections of over $60 million focusing on rural communities.

Treasurer of an organization that identifies women candidates for political office and equips them with training and tools needed to win elections.

While on the Board of Minnesota Technology, participated in a trip to Germany and the Netherlands to learn how those countries blend business, education and industry. I also participated in state-wide strategy sessions to learn from our customers how to make the programs and services provided by MTI in rural areas more effective.

Raven Machine & Tool was a custom job shop specializing in close tolerance CNC machining. The company performed work for Fortune 500 companies in the OEM, defense and aerospace. Customers included 3M, Graco, Parker Hydraulics, McDonnel Douglas (later Boeing), FMC Northern Ordnance Division and many others.

Our expertise was in machining large (up to a 60" cube), cast iron parts.
