Branding, advertising, marketing: 16 years client side as VP Marketing Director at three different companies. 11 years agency experience as VP, Brand Planning Director. 5 years as also VP, Creative Director. Lots of war stories to be told over adult beverages when it's time. (It's not yet.)
Writing: a lifetime of practicing the craft. Educated as a journalist, trained on the job as everything but. Now a practicing advertising/marketing professional who has written for TV, radio, print, web, collateral, and more.
In 2007, I wrote a collaborative book with two partners, photographer Scott Raffe and designer Carl Brune. It is 350+ page hardback called Oklahoma : A Portrait of America. Critically acclaimed, award-winning, this ode to my adopted state is available at booksellers across Oklahoma and at amazon.com.

Art Directors of Tulsa is a 50-year-old independent club of regional creative professionals and students. We hold school-year monthly meetings with some of the top speakers in the creative field from all over the world. We're a not-for-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers who raise money to provide financial awards to student winners of ADCT's annual design competition, Graphex.
