Background

Summary

My main interest is in global health, especially infectious and tropical diseases. My goal is to apply computational tools, including epidemiological modeling, omics data analysis and rational drug design, to the fight against these major global health issues.

Specialties: Large-scale data analysis, mathematical modeling, computational biology.

Experience

Postdoctoral Fellow

Harvard School of Public Health
– Present (2 years 1 month)

I'm developing and bringing together epidemiological and genetic methods to gain insights into the spread of tuberculosis in vulnerable populations.

Computational Biologist

Massachusetts General Hospital
(1 year 1 month)Center for Human Genetics Research

Modeling the genetics and the basic biology of circadian rhythm disruption and the associated pathologies (type 2 diabetes, obesity, psychiatric disorders).

Applied mathematician

Pfizer
(1 year 1 month)

Predicting molecular causes of observed changes in expression data, metabolomic profiles and clinical data.

Intern

CombinatoRx
(1 month)

Analysis of graphical models for understanding drug combinations.

Scientific consultant

Chemical Computing Group
(4 months)

My job consisted in analyzing and implementing a model for computing the Coulomb potential of a crystal system.
