Leadership and Innovation in Technology and Education
Greater Chicago Area
My experience branches into two major fields: information technology and education.
On the IT side, I am an adaptive visionary leader who understands the complex ramifications of technology in the strategic growth of an enterprise. I have advised and taught over 400 senior IT professionals in my career and I continue to provide technical expertise to many of them.
My technical expertise is in the broader field of data architecture and management. The field covers databases, data warehousing and business intelligence, data mining, and knowledge management and architecture.
On the education side, I design and implement innovative education programs for academic institutions and leading corporations, at the doctoral, masters, and executive levels. My expertise is at the intersection of business and technology.
Specifically I assist universities and corporations on how to build education operations in an increasingly global economy and marketplace. Furthermore I advise colleges and enterprises to evaluate their education strategies, strengthen their curricula, articulate their vision for future growth, and become more competitive.
By blending traditional, online and virtual modalities of learning, since 1995, I have built successful and sustainable professional and graduate programs at elite universities and Fortune-500 corporations.
