With both engineering and business background, I experienced different jobs always in deep contact with product and service innovation.
At Sagem, I was selling Flexible Management Systems for big accounts in the Industry (Aerospatiale now EADS,...)
I joined then Polaroid in 1990 to install the business of access control cards with digital photography. I became then Senior Marketing Manager for business products of Polaroid, selling products like digital video printers, video projectors...
I then joined France Telecom in 1995, as strategic and innovation manager in R&D, working on the France Telecom R&D strategic plan on mobiles and the Internet, and on different strategic projects where I was bringing my business expertise.
I co-created the Studio creatif of France Telecom with Pierre Musso in 1997, which was a fantastic experience of working with technologists, marketers, human science specialists and designers to imagine and anticipate with users what could be tomorrow's future. We worked for example on smart house, next generation mulitmedia mobile services, and were very successful in the media for our works on smart clothes.
I then joined Sylvie Heriard Dubreuil's team in the France Telecom Innovation Everywhere Transformation Program in 2005. She imagined and founded the Center of exploration, to build high potential and highly risky new businesses for Orange, with advanced methodologies mixing co-creation with users, design, and of course, business and technology.
I am curently Director of Customer Insight and User Experience of the center of exploration and Project Director.
I co-wrote with Pierre Musso and Eric Seulliet the book "Fabriquer le Futur, l'imaginaire au service de l'innovation", Village Mondial, 2005. It was based on our complementary experiences and the interviews of around 100 specialists of innovation in many fields.
"Fabriquer le futur 2", Village Mondial, 2007, the new edition, entirely reviewed, is now published.
