Kirk Mango’s Experience

  • Physical Education Teacher (and Author of "Becoming a True Champion" - Seeking Publication)

    Community High School District 99

    (Primary/Secondary Education industry)

    August 1983Present (26 years 4 months)

I am a physical education teacher in District 99 at the high school level. Since my profession is one that promotes physical fitness I try to keep in shape in order to set a good example for my students. Trying to encourage high school age students to make sound choices regarding exercise and diet becomes much more difficult if you cannot practice what you preach. Respect is something that is very important to me and it is something that is earned by what you do not by what you say. In a manner of speaking, setting a good example for students is one way I try to earn their respect. Anyway, that is my approach to my profession and pretty much to life as well.
